IT in the Park 2018

IT in the Park is now in it’s fourth year and is proving to be a really popular event and a great opportunity for industry professionals to get together and talk all things IT Service Management and all about IT Operations.

Hosted at the amazing “Dynamic Earth” in Edinburgh, UK, the location is perfect for a conference that’s all about IT, innovation and collaboration.

Hot Topics!

The opening keynote will be delivered by Julie L Mohr; “Living in the Disruption Economy” will discuss how we can develop strategies that innovate and make us more proactive when dealing with our customers. Avoiding the extinction of the IT department promises to be of interest to all of us!

Other sessions will take a look at the rise of cloud computing, how to deal with an ITAM emergency, facing the challenges of ITSM tool frustration and a women-led panel session discussing whether information is not knowledge.

ITIL 4 Information

Stuart Rance, one of the architects of the new ITIL, will be hosting a session on the updates to the ITIL scheme. This new version of ITIL has been long awaited and we’re very excited to find out more details.

So far we know that ITIL v3 will be phased out, starting with the introduction of the ITIL 4 Foundation in February 2019. Current qualifications can be bridged to the latest version when the Managing Professional Bridge course is available in H2 2019. Take a look at this blog for more information about the new ITIL 4 scheme.

Meet the Team

The ITSM Zone team will all be in attendance and we’re looking forward to the opportunity of chatting with delegates.

Claire and Kirsty are keen to discuss the new ITIL 4 scheme and hope to answer your questions on keeping your certifications relevant and up to date, or if you’re thinking of starting with ITIL training, they’ll be happy to discuss your options.

We’ll be handing out VeriSM pocket books from publisher Van Haren for anyone who wants to learn more about this holistic approach to service management.

Kat will be taking a break from finishing up the Certified Business Relationship Manager course to enjoy the sessions and chat to anyone who wants to discuss their training options.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the same without Rachel keeping everyone informed of the day’s events on our social media channels.

If you want to arrange a time to have a chat, grab a coffee and discuss how we can help you to achieve your training and certification goals for yourself or your team, then please get in touch with us.
