Recently, we announced our partnership with Makeda Foundation – non-profit organization that enables rising and aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and or enhance online solutions that empower disadvantaged women in Sub-Saharan Africa economically by helping improve their livelihood and wellbeing.
And as a part of this partnership we, at ITSM Zone supported the Foundation offering our training to their entrepreneurs.
When we decided to provide the entrepreneurs with training including ITIL, Agile, Scrum and Cloud we thought that our courses will change the way how they think about their startups. As well, we were hoping that our training courses will be a great help identifying services they should offer, designing their services, transitioning them, supporting and delivering the services, and most importantly, continuously improving the overall service map.
Two months after we are more than happy to share that together we did more of that.
These past weeks we have had a feedback session with our Makeda Foundation students and we are more then happy with the progress they made. As always, the feedback from our students is highly valuable and essential in helping us ensure we are delivering courses of the highest quality.
Telling ITSM Zone about their experience means that we gain a better insight into what is important to you, where we are excelling and where we need to make improvements.
So with this in mind, we asked our students to record their own videos and share their thoughts with us about their training.
We are starting this Video Series with Betty Mbithi, the Founder of Abetec Business Solution, a social enterprise empowering young people and women with skills to either become employable or start their own income generating activities.
She took the Agile Project Management Foundation Course and through her training she gain broad understanding of Agile principles and how they can be applied to project management to deliver value at speed.
In her video she speaks about how the training helped her and her team, but as well why she recommends this training to small and large organisations.
Whether you are a start-up or you are in a large growth stage, remember we all want to deliver and not to compromise on quality. We all need to collaborate with teams that are aligning to our organisation, vision and mission. And this training can show you how to exactly do that,
says Betty.
Thank you Betty for sharing this video with us!
